Cross-media linkage of online and print
Just in time for the Holz-Handwerk in Nuremberg, Jordan Lacke released its new product overview. Here we are taking a completely new approach. The new overview is much clearer and more user-oriented.
Users can easily and quickly find the information they need. Structured according to application areas (furniture, kitchens & bathrooms, parquet & stairs, doors, interior fittings, exterior applications, care & cleaning and additives), it is easy to find the relevant products in the respective categories.
Pictograms complete the information and ensure that the relevant possible areas of application and application options (spray gun, roller coating, curtain coating, dipping, etc.) can be found at first glance. In addition, the respective standards and tests of the corresponding product are indicated.
At the end of the brochure, a brief overview in tabular form provides information on all products at a glance. This includes further information on mixing ratios and corresponding hardeners, application types, gloss levels and standards and tests.
The new design was of course also implemented on the website. For this purpose, the product finder was completely modified. It can be found easily under the menu item “Products”. Here, the user can select according to application areas, coating systems or types of lacquer. The search results are optimised and displayed with all the necessary information. In the “Application area”, the areas “furniture, kitchens & bathrooms, parquet & stairs, doors, interior fittings, exterior application, care & cleaning and additives” familiar from the print version can be selected.
In the section ” Lacquer system”, the product groups are classified according to their chemical characteristics (water-based, decopaint-compliant, solvent-based).
Under “Type of lacquer”, fillers, primers, colour lacquers, multi-layer lacquers, clear lacquers, waxes and oils, stains as well as products for care or cleaning are available for selection.
The use of the product finder is simplified because not all search criteria have to be selected to get a search result. Selection areas can also be left blank and you still get a matching search result.
